Statistics of global crude steel production in July 2021

In July 2021, the global crude steel output of the main 64 countries and regions included in the World Steel Association's statistics was 1616.8 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%;

The global daily crude steel output was 5.216 million tons, an increase of 166,000 tons year-on-year.

Except for Mainland China, crude steel production in other regions of the world was 74.896 million tons in July, a year-on-year increase of 21.19%. 

China's crude steel output was 86.8 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.4%; 

India's crude steel output was 9.8 million tons, an increase of 13.3% year-on-year;

Japan's crude steel production was 8 million tons, an increase of 32.5% year-on-year;

US crude steel production was 7.5 million tons, an increase of 37.9% year-on-year;

Russian crude steel production is estimated at 6.7 million tons, an increase of 13.4% year-on-year;

Korean crude steel production is estimated at 6.1 million tons, an increase of 10.8% year-on-year; 

German crude steel production is estimated at 3 million tons, an increase of 24.7% year-on-year;

Turkey's crude steel production was 3.2 million tons, an increase of 2.5% year-on-year; 

Brazil's crude steel production was 3 million tons, an increase of 14.5% year-on-year;

Iran's crude steel production is estimated at 2.6 million tons, an increase of 9.0% year-on-year.
