In cylindrical roller bearings with inner or outer rings without ribs, the inner and outer rings can be axially moved relative to each other, so they can be used as free-end bearings. According to the flange of the ring, it can be divided into NU, NJ, NUP, N, NF, and other single-row cylindrical roller bearings, and NNU, NN, and other double-row cylindrical roller bearings. One side of the inner ring and the outer ring has a double rib, and the other side of the ring has a cylindrical roller bearing with a single rib, which can withstand a certain degree of axial load in one direction. 

Generally use steel plate stamping cages, or copper alloy carted solid cages. But some also use polyamide-forming cages. The roller of the cylindrical roller bearing is in linear contact with the raceway, and the radial load capacity is large. It is not only suitable for bearing heavy loads and impact loads but also suitable for high-speed rotation, while improving the lubrication conditions of the contact area between the roller end face and the rib, improving the performance of the bearing.

4, The processing requirements for the shaft or seat hole are higher, and the relative deviation of the outer ring axis after the bearing installation should be strictly controlled to avoid contact stress concentration.

5, The inner ring or outer ring can be separated for easy installation and disassembly.

1. Cylindrical roller bearings with the outer ring without flange N0000 type and inner ring without flange NU0000 type Such bearings can accept large radial loads, high speed, do not bind the axial displacement of the shaft or housing, and cannot accept axial loads.

2. Cylindrical roller bearings NJ0000 type, NF0000 type bearings with inner and outer rings with guards can bind the axial displacement of the shaft or housing in one direction and can accept small one-way axial load. NU0000+HJ0000, NJ0000+HJ0000, and NUP0000 bearings can bind the axial displacement of the shaft or the housing in two directions in the axial clearance field of the imported bearings. And can accept small bidirectional axial loads.

General considerations for bearing rings and rolling elements include hardness related to load-bearing capacity, fatigue resistance under rolling contact and lubrication conditions of varying cleanliness, and dimensional stability. The contact sealing ring embedded in the rolling bearing also has a significant impact on the performance and reliability of the bearing. The relative importance of these considerations is also influenced by other working parameters, such as corrosion, high temperature, shock load, or a combination of these factors.

The materials used in its manufacture must have excellent oxidation resistance, heat resistance, or chemical corrosion resistance. For cages, friction, strain, and inertial forces are to be considered, and in some cases, chemical interactions with certain lubricants, solvents, coolants, and refrigerants are also to be considered.
