Advantages of spiral bushing bearings

Spiral roller bearing is widely used in steel industry, along with four-row tapered roller bearing, four-row cylindrical roller bearing and spherical roller bearing etc.

The spiral roller has the following advantages: 

A) This bearing is made of spring steel. The annealing temperature of spring steel is 3500C. Therefore, it is less sensitive to temperature than the annealing temperature of 1800C ball bearing steel (100Cr6). The material will lose its hardness extremely at temperatures above the tempering temperature. Therefore, spring steel is more suitable for high temperature operation.

B) Spring steel has good elasticity and is therefore easy to install. The inner ring can be installed in any position by means of two hook wrenches and the internal tension of the inner ring can be fastened to the shaft. Machining inner rings with tolerances of H9 or H1L with elastic materials is relatively easy to achieve.

C) This bearing is durable and is less affected by dirt, iron filings, water and the weak acid formed by falling iron powder and water. The thin - walled helix leaves more room for large - diameter rolling parts. These parts can be rolled to press the stolen goods and foreign matter into the spiral gap of the coil.

D) The main advantage of spiral bearings is that the outer ring can be reused many times, which makes it possible to rework it once it has been damaged and bent due to the influence of temperature. In this case, the bearing seat also needs to be adjusted. In this structural design, only the outer spiral ring rather than the whole set of bearings needs to be changed, and all the other bearing parts can be used again.
