Cylindrical roller bearings

Double-row cylindrical roller bearings are rolling bearings whose design features two rows of cylindrical rollers. This bearing has a compact structure, high load capacity, and high rigidity. Most of them use machined solid brass cages; they are also separable bearings, which makes installation and disassembly easy.

Structural types of double-row cylindrical roller bearings

According to the different positions of the ribs, double-row cylindrical roller bearings can be divided into NN type, NNU type, and NNUP type, and the inner hole has two types: cylindrical type and conical type. The required internal clearance of the tapered bore bearing can be obtained by adjusting the pushing amount. The auxiliary code K follows the tapered hole in the nominal model. In addition, there are bearings with oil grooves and holes in the outer ring, and the auxiliary code in the nominal model is W. The schematic diagram is as follows:

Application of double-row cylindrical roller bearings

Because double-row cylindrical roller bearings have high load capacity, rigidity, and separability, they are particularly suitable for machine tool spindle supports. Double-row cylindrical roller bearings are also widely used in coal mine equipment.

Under certain working conditions, such as machine tool spindles with thin-walled bearings, rolls of steel rolling machines, and cylinders of printing machines, double-row cylindrical roller bearings can be used as axial locating or non-locating bearings. This bearing can withstand a certain degree of axial load and can, therefore, be used as a bearing on the fixed side of the equipment.
