Bearings for Steel Industry

In sintering equipment, Roller bearings are categorized based on the direction of the load they can bear and the nominal contact angle.

Radial bearings: rolling bearings are mainly used to bear radial loads, with nominal contact angles from 0° to 45°. According to different nominal contact angles, they can be divided into radial contact bearings (nominal contact angle is 0°) and centripetal angular contact bearings (nominal contact angle is greater than 0° to 45°).

Thrust bearings: rolling bearings are mainly used to bear axial loads, with nominal angles greater than 45° to 90°. According to different nominal contact angles, they can be divided into axial contact bearings (nominal contact angle is 90°) and thrust angular contact bearings (nominally, the contact angle is greater than 45° but less than 90°).

In addition, rolling bearings can be divided into ball bearings and roller bearings according to roller type. Roller bearings can be divided into cylindrical roller bearings (the rolling elements are cylindrical rollers, and the ratio of their length to diameter is less than or equal to 3) and needle roller bearings (The rolling elements are needle rollers, with a diameter ratio greater than three but less than or equal to 5mm.) and tapered roller bearings (the rolling elements are tapered rollers).

In addition, ball bearings can be divided into aligning bearings and non-aligning bearings (also called rigid bearings) according to whether they can be adjusted during operation. According to the number of rows of the roller body, it can be divided into single-row bearings, double-row bearings, and multi-row bearings, such as three-row and four-row bearings.

In addition, roller bearings in sintering equipment can also be divided into separable bearings and non-separable bearings according to whether their components can be separated, divided into multiple structural types according to their structural shapes, and divided into micro-types according to their outer diameter. Bearings, small bearings, small and medium bearings, medium and large bearings, large bearings, and extra large bearings.
